MY DOG IS MY HOME

Share Stories. Share Data. Change Systems. Change Lives.

In March, hundreds of you came together for the My Dog Is My Home Conference—united by one mission:

Keep people and their pets together in safe, affordable housing

We heard from experts across nonprofits, government, and advocacy groups. But the most powerful voices were those who had lived through homelessness themselves—like Mason Castillo.

“Before I could even drive a car, I had two options:
Stay home and possibly kill myself—or leave.”

Mason chose to leave, taking to the streets with his cat, Nala, his only friend.

“Homelessness is a state of despair. I was a child, and I was ignored.”

Today, Mason works at El Paso Animal Services, helping people who face the same impossible choices he once did—surrendering pets because they have no housing options.

We’re asking you to please make a gift today, to help families like Mason and Nala.

Your gift today will go twice as far.

Life of Riley at Spring Point is matching all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $75,000. That means your support will help double the impact for families like Mason’s—keeping more people and pets together.

Can you make a gift today to help us meet this generous match?

Together, we can ensure no one has to choose between a home and their best friend.
